De redenering klopt. Wanneer je naar de inkepingen kijkt (het betrouwbaarheidsinterval) van de laatste investering, dan zie je dat deze het hoogste ligt boven 100 en ook boven het vereiste rendement.

Deze vraagstelling heb ik ook min of meer correct kunnen oplossen.

Voor deze vraag hanteren we notched boxplots-techniek. Bij de laatste boxplot (IND10_UT90)kunnen we zien dat de mediaan hier het hoogst is. In de opgave kunnen we lezen dat de investeerder een rendement wilt dat hoger ligt dan 3,8%. Kijken we opnieuw naar de laatste boxplot, dan kunnen we stellen dat de mediaan hier hoger ligt.

Als we kijken naar de lower bound, zien we dat de laatste boxplot (IND10_UT90) de hoogste waarde vertoont in vergelijking met de andere 4. Hier wordt ook nog eens aangetoond dat het rendement hoger dan 3,8% ligt.

Als we nu ook nog eens een horizontale lijn zouden trekken ter hoogte van 103,8, zien we dat deze lijn onder het betrouwbaarheidsinterval ligt van IND10_UT90. We kunnen hier dus stellen dat dit de beste investering is.
