De student heeft deze vraag correct beantwoord. Het is inderdaad duidelijk dat de productie van kleding significant lager ligt dan de industriële productie.

De student heeft de vraag inderdaad correct beantwoord.
Wellicht hadden de assen in de Notched Boxplots benoemd kunnen worden (totale productie en kledingproductie i.p.v. X1 en X2).

Als we kijken naar de notched boxplots zien we dat de industriele productie lichtjes gestegen is ten opzichte van het basisjaar 2000 (=waarde 100). Bij kledingproductie is er een daling tov basisjaar 2000.
We kunnen hier idd stellen dat de mediaan van kledingproductie significant (= beduidend)lager ligt dan die van de industriele productie. Als we het betrouwbaarheidsinterval van kledingproductie doortrekken naar links toe, kan je zien dat deze minder blijft dan die van de industriele productie. Het ligt dus een stuk lager => significant lager dan industriele productie.

De student heeft de vraag correct beantwoord. De mediaan van kleding ligt significant lager dan de mediaan van de industriële productie.
