Dit resultaat is fout; We hebben het hier over het betrouwbaarheidsinterval voor de random component, dus van deze gevonden waarden (die juist zijn voor de gehele tijdreeks) moet nog de constante factor nl. het gemiddelde afgetrokken worden.
Dit doen we door dit in een Excel-file eraf te trekken of door een aanpassing te maken in de R-code, nl.: x vervangen door x <- x - gemiddelde.

Deze conclusie is inderdaad fout. Het gaat hier om de random component. De voorspelling (gemiddelde) dient dus nog in mindering gebracht te worden van de extremen. Indien we dit uitrekenen met de software door x <- x - 106.083333333333 (=gemiddelde) in te voeren in de R-code (zie link: http://www.freestatistics.org/blog/index.php?v=date/2008/Nov/03/t1225703395i6994gqeqncejqd.htm) bekomen we, voor 0,22 en 0,78 (de gevonden standard errors van de student) en de daarmee corresponderende waarden 102.39 en 110.35, het interval -3.69461866385871 en 4.27048195978945.
