je gaat hier niet in op het verband tussen de drie tijdreeksen. Je zegt enkel iets over de gewone correlatie, maar dat is dezelfde als wat je eerder al besprak. De partial Correlatie gaat eerst een correlatie berekenen tussen twee tijdreeksen en dan deze gevonde waarde gaat hij in verband brengen met een derde tijdreeks.
