De student trekt een foutieve conclusie.

We kunnen een horizontale lijn trekken op waarde 103,8 (100 + 3,8). Vervolgens stellen we vast dat IND10_UT90 de beste investering is aangezien deze volledig boven onze grens ligt. IND30_UT70 blijkt een randgeval te zijn.

De student heeft een verkeerde conclusie getrokken.
Je moet een lijn trekken door de return dat je wilt krijgen. IN dit geval 100 + 3,8 .
Dan ge je zien welke investering hier het beste tegenover ligt.
Hieruit stellen we dan vast da tIND10_UT90 de beste investering is , want deze valt volledig boven de grens(lijn)

De notches vallen inderdaad volledig boven de grens wat aangeeft dat dit de meest veilige investering is. De spreiding is hier ook nog een het kleinst wat de betrouwbaarheid nog vergroot.
