De student geeft een juiste betekenis aan de notchod boxplot maar zegt niets over dat er een significant verschil is tussen de mediaan van de kledingproductie en deze van de totale productie, aangezien de inkepingen van de notched boxplots elkaar niet overlappen.Dit betekent dat het verschil tussen deze medianen bijgevolg niet aan het toeval te wijten is.
