De student heeft gebruik gemaakt van de juiste methode maar heeft een verkeerde conclusie getrokken. Er is namelijk min of meer een normale verdeling.

Bij deze grafiek is het moeilijk te zien of dat er een dalende trend is op lange termijn.

De bult op de grafiek is niet uitgesproken genoeg. Er is geen rden om aan te nemen dat er geen normaalverdeling is. De Normal Q-Q-plot toont ook een goede normaalverdeling, weliswaar niet perfect.

De Run Sequence Plot toont een langetermijntrend maar niet altijd even duidelijk. Hier is er een vermoeden van een dalende trend. Zekerheid is er niet, central tendency kan een hulp zijn om de dalende trend te bevestigen.

De variantie/spreiding is groter in het 1e deel dan in het 2e deel van de grafiek.
