Vraag 1 taak 2:
Het antwoord van de student is fout. Dit komt omdat hij de berekening heeft uitgevoerd van MAART 2006 tot en met juli 2008. Hij had deze berekening moeten doen van APRIL 2006 tot en met juli 2008.

Om dit interval te kunnen berekenen laten we 2,5% wegvallen in elke staart. Zo zien we dat er 95% kans bestaat dat de waarden van de totale productie tussen 87,46 en 121,41 liggen.

87,46 verkrijgen we door in de kolom “Value” te gaan kijken bij het cijfer 0.025. 121,41 verkrijgen we door in de kolom “Value” te gaan kijken naar het cijfer 0.975.

==> P (87,46 < Total Production < 121,41) = 95%

De waarden van de productie van deze recentere gegevens (2006/04-2008/07) liggen hoger dan de waarden van de productie van de vorige gegevens.

Dit had de student kunnen oplossen aan de hand van de Harrell-Davis-techniek.

Bij 1/1000% is er nog geen 122,4. De kans is bijgevolg heel klein. We gaan er niet geraken.
We kunnen ook zien dat de waarschijnlijkheid niet voorkomt aangezien het hoogste cijfer in onze datareeks 122.4 bedraagt (2007/10) en er zich geen getal hoger dan 122.4 bevindt. We kunnen besluiten dat als de totale productie groter is dan 122,4 dit een zeer zeldzame waarde/verschijning is.

Het is hetzelfde principe als in de vorige oefeningen 'Q6' en 'Q7'.
Hier is wel een fout begaan door niet de juiste periodes te nemen.
Het is niet van Maart 2006 maar vanaf April 2006 en er is hier dus een maand teveel genomen.
We nemen dus uit elke staart 2,5% of 0,025 en de 'step size' naar 0,005 brengen natuurlijk.
Na het doen van die berekening weten we dat er 95% kans bestaat dat de waarden van de totale productie tussen de 87.4580773247206 en 121.407714397964 ligt.

2007/06 = 117,20 (binnen betrouwbaarheidsinterval)

Student heeft voornamelijk een fout gemaakt in de maanden, maar voor de rest snapt hij het principe wel.
