De student heeft een correcte berekening en legt deze ook uit. De conclusies van de student zijn correct. Men zou eventueel de gevonden gegevens nog kunnen linken met de actualiteit of deze verklaren.

Je verklaart eerst alle parameters, wat ik wel een pluspunt vind. Bij de uitleg over M1 tot M11 kon je een aantal concrete voorbeelden geven (maand januari doet het slechter dan de referentiemaand en maand november doet het dan weer beter)Voor deze effecten zou je een verklaring kunnen zoeken. Over het gebruik van de 2-tail value heb je gelijk maar je moet concreter zeggen waarom de kans groot is dat we ons vergissen bij het verwerpen van de nulhypothese. (aangezien er enkele maanden zijn die een p-value hebben die groter zijn dan de alpha-fout van 5% kunnen we zeggen dat er bij deze maanden geen sprake is van een significant verschil en deze waarden dus te wijten kunnen zijn aan toeval)

Bij grafiek 1a en 2a kon je een zelf een lijn toevoegen, zoals je reeds deed in het eerste gedeelte van je taak. Je geeft goede verklaringen ivm de normaalverdelingen van de grafieken

Het lijkt me inderdaad nuttig dat je gaat onderzoeken wat er in december 2006 verandert is.

Je geeft een juiste omschrijving aan de Adjusted R-squared.De R-squared waarde geeft aan hoe het model de data weergeeft. Hoe meer deze de waarde van 1 benadert, hoe beter. Als je wilt nagaan of deze waarde te wijten is aan toeval, kijken we naar de p-waarde. Deze bedraagt 8 hier en dus groter als de Alpha fout en het kan hier dus te wijten zijn aan toeval.

Residuals:
Deze grafiek geeft het verschil weer tussen de verschillende resultaten en de voorspelde resultaten, dit zijn dus de voorspellingsfouten. Normaal moet het gemiddelde hier constant zijn en gelijk aan nul. Het is goed opgemerkt, dat dit hier niet het geval is.

Je ziet hier op 3 grafieken dat er niet te sprake is van een perfecte normaalverdeling.
Ten eerste op het histogram is te zien, dat er aan de staarten een scheefverdeling waar te nemen is.
Ook het density plot neemt niet de vorm aan van een normaalverdeling.
En ook op het residual normal QQ plot zie je dat de quantielen van de residu’s niet overeenkomen met deze van een normaalverdeling.

Residuals:
Dit geeft inderdaad een slechte correlatie weer, men spreekt hier dus niet over voorspelbaarheid.

Je hebt een juist algemeen besluit gemaakt.
