Zowel je berekening als je interpretatie zijn goed. Je zou er wel nog op kunnen wijzen dat de pakkans zo laag is omdat de leverancier slechts een klein beetje foefelt. Deze zal, als hij slim is, deze fraude ook niet verhogen in de toekomst omdat hij weet dat de pakkans dan verhoogt. Hij blijft dus slechts een beetje foefelen.

De conclusie is juist. De type II error geeft aan dat er 94% kans is dat de fraude van de leverancier niet kan worden gedetecteerd, met als gevolg dat er slechts een pakkans van 6% is. De verleiding voor de leverancier om te frauderen is dus zeer groot.
