Opnieuw werden door de student de populatievariantie, het steekproefgemiddelde, de nul hypothese en de alternatieve hypothese voor het gemiddelde verkeerd ingegeven. Het decimaalteken staat verkeerd.
We gaan er vanuit dat de getuigenis van de werknemer correct is.
Bij het ingeven van de juiste data geeft de type II error aan dat er 94% kans is dat de fraude van de leverancier niet kan worden gedetecteerd, met als gevolg dat er slechts een pakkans van 6% is. De verleiding voor de leverancier om te frauderen is dus zeer groot, nog groter dan de student dacht.
