We gebruiken de gegevens van de opgave en vullen het betrouwbaarheidsinterval van 95% in. We kunnen kiezen uit de eenzijdige of tweezijdige toets. Vermits we de afwijking naar boven willen meten gebruiken we de eenzijdige (right tail) toets. De rechterstaart is nauwkeuriger omdat hierbij de volledige foutenmarge van 5% is verrekent.
De sample mean (0.1546) ligt onder 0.189276559191704 en dus binnen het 95%-betrouwbaarheidsinterval.
