Uit de tabel kan je afleiden dat er een lage correlatie, dus samenhang is tussen deze twee variabelen.
Dit zie je ook aan de grafiek: er is wel sprake van 1 cluster, maar de hoogtelijnen liggen al duidelijk verder uit elkaar dan in de vorige grafiek (deze die het verband aangeeft tussen het sparen van de gezinnen en de economische situatie).
De punten liggen dus veel meer verspreid over de grafiek en ze liggen ook verder af van de diagnoale lijn die getrokken werd door de grafiek. Er zijn maar een aantal punten die op of dicht tegen deze lijn liggen, wat wijst op een lagere dichtheid.
