Het antwoord is juist. De techniek werd op een correcte manier gebruikt.

We merken op dat de correlatie tussen x en y het grootst is. Dit is niet verwonderlijk omdat het aantal bouwvergunningen in Vlaanderen veel hoger is dan in Wallonië.

Het is opmerkelijk dat er een negatieve partial correlation bestaat tussen y en z. Dit komt door de correctie van de derde variabele x.
