De interpretatie van de student(e) is niet helemaal correct. Er is geen sprake van overlapping tussen de eerste en de laatste boxplots dus spreken we hier wel van significantie.
Door te kijken naar de mediaan merken we op dat voor de investeringen IND90_UT10, IND70_UT30, IND50_UT50 deze nog tot onder de grens van 103.8 kan schommelen waardoor we deze investeringen al uitsluiten. Het is tevens zeer duidelijk dat de laatste investering de beste is aangezien de mediaan en ondegrens (boven dewelke 75% van de gegevens ligt) hoger liggen dan bij de IND30_UT70.
Conclusie : de laatste investering (IND10_UT90) is de beste. Bij deze investering ligt de return on investment significant hoger dan 3.8%

De student heeft goed opgemerkt dat IND10_UT90 de beste belegging is, omdat de spreiding kleiner ligt dan bij de anderen. Hierbij kan ik nog extra vermelden dat deze spreiding het risico voorstelt en bovendien constateren we ook dat de mediaan hoger ligt. Die mediaan geeft het rendement weer.
