Je uitleg over wat de grafiek wil zeggen is correct. Maar er stond ook in de opgave dat je moest kijken of je verschillende categorieën kon vinden. Je had dus kunnen kijken welke van de icoontjes op elkaar gelijken. Dat wil zeggen dat deze iconen dezelfde eigenschappen bezitten. Een voorbeeld van een categorie is 15, 16, 17, 22 en 23. Deze hebben alle vijf een relatief hoge hoeveelheid van de kenmerken ‘hp’, ‘disp’, ‘cyl’, en ‘wt’. De overige kenmerken worden in deze wagens relatief weinig vertegenwoordigd. Misschien kunnen de iconen 7 en 12 ook nog in deze categorie vervat worden.
