Bijhorende uitleg? De grafiek is correct getransformeerd.
Het gevolg van een logaritmische transformatie is dat de hoogste schommelingen naar beneden worden gehaald en de kleine schommelingen dus meer betekenis krijgen. Hierdoor verliezen de outliers gedeeltelijk hun invloed.

Weer geeft de student geen conclusie. De juiste transformatie is toegepast en de juiste grafieken geven het weer. Maar zonder conclusie.De logaritmische functie gaat ervoor zorgen dat kleine schommelingen omgezet worden naar grote en grote schommeling/afwijkingen = outliers omgezet worden in kleine of worden ingedrukt !Door deze transformatie gaat de invloed van outliers worden verwijderd.

De student geeft een correcte transformatie van de grafiek maar legt niet uit wat we er uit kunnen afleiden en hoe de transformatie in zijn werk treedt. De logaritmische functie wordt gebruikt om niet-normaalverdeelde metingen om te vormen tot normaalverdeelde metingen of metingen die daar het beste bij aansluiten. Hier zorgt het ervoor dat de grote metingenin verhouden tot de kleine metingen meer verkleind worden. Hierdoor krijgen de kleine metingen meer betekenis.
