De studente neemt hier alle nodige tabellen en informatie op, maar de conclusie en verklaring is niet uitgebreid genoeg. X4 ligt significant lager dan de andere variabelen omdat de inkepingen van de boxplots niet overlappen. Het is inderdaad zo dat de spreiding van de boxplots niet relevant is hier. Men moet enkel kijken naar de mediaan (midden van de boxplot).

iets te weinig uitleg bij je conclusie, daarom zal ik de conclusie uitbreiden.
Conclusie: Uit de figuur van de notched box plots kunnen we afleiden dat de investeringen t.o.v. het basisjaar 2001 het sterkst gedaald zijn, doordat de mediaan significant lager ligt. Hiervan zijn we 95% zeker, omdat de inkepingen elkaar niet overlappen.Je mag zeker niet vergelijken op vlak van de spreiding van de box plots, maar je moet de medianen vergelijken

Het betrouwbaarheidsinterval van x4 ligt relatief ver verwijderd van de intervallen van de overige 3 variabelen. De getallen van de lower en upper bound van deze mediaan zijn veel kleiner ten opzichte van de anderen. Dit alles kan wijzen op een slechte evolutie van de vierde variabele(dit konden we afleiden uit de tabel).
