Zoals de student weergeeft is er inderdaad sprake van seizoenaliteit. Bij de notched box plots is er echter enkel een significant verschil tussen de uiterste waarden bijvoorbeeld tussen maand 7en 10. Dit verschil is dus niet toevallig , er sprake is van seizoenaliteit.

Je hebt het goed beantwoordt. Bij deze box plots is het nog net zichtbaar dat de daling aan het toeval toe te schrijven is. Als dit verschil niet duidelijk af te lezen is van de box plots, dan is verder onderzoek nodig. Hiervoor kan men een tabel genereren waarin de betrouwbaarheidsintervallen (de lower en upper bound) per box plot numeriek gegeven staan.
Ik denk dat je in plaats van ‘sequentiële daling’,’ significante daling’ moet schrijven.

De student heeft gelijk als hij zegt dat er sprake is van seizoenaliteit. Ook hoe de mean plot berekend wordt is goed weergegeven. Er kan nog toegevoegd worden dat het betrouwbaarheidsinterval groot is, aangezien de boxplots zogenaamde armpjes en beentjes hebben.

Ook hier is de commentaar correct: er is sprake van een daling. Of de daling al dan niet significant is, moet er een uitgebreidere analyse plaatsvinden.
