De student heeft task 3 ivm de logaritme op de verkeerde data toegepast, hij moest dit toepassen op task 2 ipv op task 1.

het is inderdaad toegepast op de foute data maar dit verandert niets aan het feit dat de student zeer goed weet waarom we het logaritme gebruiken.
het logaritme zorgt ervoor dat de grote schommelingen worden afgezwakt, seizoenaliteit wordt weggedrukt, outliers worden weggewerkt en dus de spreiding verkleind.

Je snapt waarover je het hebt enkel gebruik je de foute data.

De grote getallen worden door het gebruik v logaritmes afgezwakt en de kleine getallen worden uitgerokken. Dit heeft als gevolg dat de outliers hier niet meer zozeer parten spelen en ze niet meer zo ver boven de andere getallen gaan uitsteken.

Je had er wel moeten bij vermelden dat indien je een negatief getallen gebruikt je hier niet het logaritme van kan nemen. Hier moet je mee opletten bij andere tijdreeksen.
