Als je weet dat het rendement zo hoog mogelijk moet zijn en het risico zo klein mogelijk, moet je de Notched Box Plot gebruiken.

Uit deze grafiek kan je afleiden dat de laatste manier van beleggen (Ind=10%, Ut=90%) de beste is.
De mediaan ligt hier het hoogst, wat op het beste rendement duid en de spreiding is hier het kleinst, waardoor het risico ook het kleinst is.

Als je op de grafiek een lijn trekt in 103,8 zie je dat deze investering tevens significant hoger ligt dan deze 3,8ù% grens (dus de 'notches' liggen er volledig boven).

Weer: correct grafiek, maar geen uitleg! Je kunt besluiten dat de laatste vorm van beleggen het beste is

Correcte grafiek. Hier moest je eigenljik een denkbeeldige lijn trekken om te zien welke investering boven het betrouwbaarheidsinterval viel. Daar zien we dat IND10-UT90 er juist boven ligt. Dit was dus het correcte antwoord.
