De berekening is niet helemaal fout, maar als je het het aantal jaren verhoogt zal je de seizonaliteit veel beter kunnen nagaan.
Ik heb de blockwidth veranderd naar 60 (5jaar) waardoor je heel duidelijk seizonaliteit kan waarnemen.

Inderdaad, als je het over een lange termijn bekijkt kan je zien of de fluctuaties in de reeks elk jaar terugkomen. Dit zou dan automatisch wijzen op een seizoensgebondenheid

De berekening is inderdaad niet fout, ze is volledig juist. Ik richt
me nu niet naar de student in kwestie maar naar de eerdere reacties op
het feedback forum. De blockwidth moet op 12 behouden blijven en mag in
dit geval geenszins aangepast worden! De values op de x-as geven niet
één maand weer, maar een verzameling van dezelfde maanden.

Bijvoorbeeld: voor een tijdreeks van januari 2001 tot en met december 2003
geeft value 1 het gemiddelde (in geval van een mean plot) weer van januari
2001, januari 2002 en januari 2003 tezamen. Value 2 geeft dan februari 2001,
enz. weer.
