Bij IND10_UT90 is de mediaan het hoogst. Dit is duidelijk af te leiden uit de grafiek. (104.84)
We dienen vanuit 103,8 (100% + 3,8% rednement) een lijn te tekenen. We merken dan dat bij IND10_UT90 de mediaan duidelijk hoger ligt.
Een andere manier om dit te zien is op basis van de lower bound. De lower bound van IND10_UT90 heeft de grootste waarde in vergelijking met de 4 andere portefeuilles.

Puntje 1: The investor buys at day 1... Hier kan je best de eerste investering nemen. dit portfolio heeft de grootste opbrengst op de 90ste dag (stijging van 9% ten opzichte van de 1ste dag). In de boxplot zie je dit doordat de spreiding groot is en de bovenrand hoger ligt dan de andere boxplots.
Puntje 2: IND10_UT90 (5de) kan je best nemen, omdat de mediaan hier doorgaans hoger ligt is het beter voor investeerders die niet weten wanneer ze het moeten verkopen. Je maakt hier minder winst op, maar er zijn waarschijnlijk minder risico's aan verbonden.
Puntje 3: ook de 5de want hier heb je haast geen re-investments nodig.

Hier mag ik vorige studenten bevestigen. Ik heb de juiste interpretatie van de gegevens gemaakt alhoewel sommige studenten dit nog vanuit een andere invalshoek bekijken en een juiste beoordeling maken.

Bij punt 3 ben ik het niet eens met meneer Femont. Ik stel vast dat portfolio 1 de beste blijft vanwege het grootste rendement.
