Je berekening is correct maar je vergeet wel de relevantie te bespreken. Is dit verschil toevallig of gaat is het echt significant?

In dit geval kunnen we stellen dat het om de tweede optie gaat(het verschil is geen toeval)aangezien de inkepingen van de kledijproductie, die het betrouwbaarheidsinterval weergeven, volledig onder de notched boxplot van de totale productie ligt.

Je moet er inderdaad bijzeggen dat het significant(!) kleiner is. De upperbound van de kledingproductie ligt lager dan de lowerbound van de totale productie

Je berekening is correct maar zeggen dat het 'lager' is is te onduidelijk. Je kan een verschil beter bespreken als significant of toeval.
Hier is het verschil significant, aangezien de notches van de kleding productie (95% betrouwbaarheids interval)volledig onder de notched boxplot van de totale productie ligt.
