De analyse werd goed gemaakt door de student. De grafieken worden duidelijk uitgelegd. De student legt uit waar je moet op letten en welke de belangrijkste dingen zijn om af te lezen. Hierdoor kan hij de assumpties controleren.

We zetten alle parameters op zijn maximale waarde. De software filtert er zelf de juiste paramameterwaarden uit.

Je ziet dat er bij sommige waarden rechtsonder zwarte driehoeken staan, deze vakjes kunnen we verwerpen omdat de p-value te hoog is. Je kan dus afleiden dat de SAR geen 2 is zoals we hadden ingegeven, maar dat we het met SAR=0 correct hadden in de eerst berekening (zie stap 4). We hebben wel ontdekt dat MA =1 kan zijn. Dit kan je zien in de laatste rij. Het heeft wel een oranje blokje (p-value tussen 1% en 5%. Nu kunnen we zelf kiezen hoe streng we zijn. Nemen we het erbij of niet. wij nemen q=0. Hij geeft ook aan met een zwart driehoekje dat AR=3 fout is, je ziet dat het AR=2 moet zijn.

De formule wordt:
( 1 – 0,46*B – 0,19*B² ) * 1112 * 0,5(Yt) = ( 1 – (-0,73*B12)) * et

Hiernaast kunnen we dan de kwaliteit van het model gaan onderzoeken aan de hand van de assumpties:

Assumptie 1: Er is geen sprake van autocorrelatie:

In het Residual Autocorrelation Function zien we dat alle autocorrelatiewaarden in het betrouwbaarheidsinterval liggen. Als we kijken naar het Residual Partial Autocorrelation Function zien we dat er 1 autocorrelatiewaarde buiten het betrouwbaarheidsinterval valt. Dit is echter geen probleem aangezien bij een betrouwbaarheid van 95% gewerkt wordt met een alfafout van 5%. Er mogen met andere woorden bij een gegevensreeks van 200 waarden 10 buiten het betrouwbaarheidsinterval opdat er nog sprake zou zijn van autocorrelatie. Hier valt er slechts eentje buiten waardoor we kunnen stellen dat deze assumptie vervuld is.

Assumptie 2: Er is sprake van een fixed distrbution.

In het Histogram, het Density Plot en de QQ-Plot zien we dat de gegevens een normaalverdeling kennen. In het QQ-Plot zien we echter wel kleine afwijkingen rechtsboven, maar dit is slechts een klein probleem waardoor we kunnen stellen dat ook aan deze assumptie voldaan is.

Assumptie 3: Er is sprake van een fixed location.

Aangezien de tijdreeks stationair gemaakt is, is er aan deze assumptie voldaan.

Hier merken we op dat er een AR2 proces is en geen AR3 proces. Het streepje op de PACF van daarnet, waarover twijfel bestond, was dus niet significant verschillend van nul.

Uiteindelijk heb je dus een AR2, MA1 en seizoenaal MA1 proces.

Er ontbreekt wel een formule van het ARIMA model. Ook de assumpties van de residu’s moesten nog bekeken worden. Deze vind je in de bovenstaande feedback.
