De 4 tijdsreeksen hebben een economisch verband met elkaar. Maar ik heb een opmerking i.v.m. de tijdsreeks 'Ontwikkeling Consumptieprijzen België'. Als we naar de andere tijdsreeksen kijken is het duidelijk dat er vanaf periode 30 er zich een daling voordoet, en vanaf periode 50 de grafiek stabiliseert of lichtjes stijgt. Bij de ontwikkeling van consumptieprijzen in België is er vanaf periode 30 een stijging en vanaf periode 50 een hevige daling. In de uitleg staat dat wanneer de economische situatie verbetert, de prijzen stabiel blijven of stijgen. Maar uit de grafiek kan ik opmaken dat dit het tegenovergestelde is. Of is hier een bepaalde verklaring voor?

Volgens mij kan je hiervoor de volgende verklaring geven : 'de ontwikkeling van de consumptieprijzen', 'sparen van de gezinnen' en 'financiële situatie van de gezinnen' hangen af van 'de economische situatie'. De reden waarom de grafieken niet exact gelijklopen is dat de economische situatie de oorzaak is en de andere drie een gevolg daarvan. De drie 'gevolggrafieken' lopen dus wat achter op de 'oorzaakgrafiek'.
